What is Resume Refiner?
The purpose of Resume Refiner is to help guide candidates to enhance their resumes to better align to their desired job. With AI support, this application helps job seekers add more context to their resume that would make them a better fit for a particular job.
Credits and pricing
Credits are used to refine resumes and are directly correlated to AI model request costs. This site intentionally does not have a subscription feature since the purpose should be that long time usage is not necessary. Resume Refiner is not meant to be another subscription that people forget about, it should help you get an interview.
Credit purchase limits
To not create yet another resume spamming website, Resume Refiner limits the number of credits and therefore the number of refinements a single user can conduct within a given time frame. The limit in place has been created to balance legitimate use for job seekers and those trying to use this service to apply to any and all jobs under the sun.
Technology and AI
This application utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to help coordinate a list of suggestions to enhance resume data. AI results are imperfect and can result in unintuitive or unlikely outcomes. All AI generated or enhanced content should be met with scrutiny and be validated. You as the user are kept "in the loop" during this process to ensure that only valid suggestions and edits are made to your resume.

What is a "Credit"?
Credits are ResumeRefinement.ai's currency and you spend credits to help tailor you Resumé to job descriptions. Each time you tailor your resume to a job description, you pay 10 credits for all suggestions. You are able to purchase more credits by clicking on "Buy Credits" in the header menu.
What is a "Refinement"?
A Refinement is the action and result of you accepting/rejecting suggestions on ResumeRefiner.ai. You could have many refinements for your resume, each of them targeting a different job description. Each refinement will result in a tailored resume perfect for that job.
What is the Job Match Score?
The Job Match Score is a percentage (out of 100) that indicates how well your resume aligns with the specific job requirements. The score is calculated based on how many of the AI-generated suggestions you've reviewed and applied to your resume. As you accept more relevant suggestions that enhance your resume for the target position, your Job Match Score increases, giving you a clear indicator of your resume's readiness for that particular job application.
What do I do after a Refinement is complete?
After a resume has been refined with Resume Refiner, download the resume PDF and apply to your role! Feel free to also copy paste the resume into your editor of choice to make additional changes.
Do credits expire?
No, credits never expire and can be redeemed at any time. As the application evolves, the quantity of operations per credit is subject to change.
What happens if a refinement fails?
In the result of a failed refinement, the cost of the refinement will be automatically refunded to the user.
Can I use Resume Refiner for my resume writing business?
No, you may not use Resume Refiner for your resume writing or career coaching business. You are permitted to suggest Resume Refiner as a tool for client use but you may not use Resume Refiner on behalf of clients for an additional fee.
